Hello everyone. I too loved fully moving from being a psychologist to coach back in 1995
I started training other therapists to make the move, or add coacihing to their offerings with www.lifecoachtraining.com

I now suggest you take a strong look at the new Board Certified Coach designation from the Center for Credentialing and Education ( who also manages the National Certified Counselor exam in all 50 us states through NBCC
go to www.CCE-Global.org/BCC

Dear Susan,
I also transitioned from being a licensed therapist of 21 years to a Life Coach.
I love it even better! I feel like I can practice freely now, focusing on what clients need, rather than on agency, insurance, or licensing board paperwork requirements.
Our skills become broader as a Life Coach, by helping move clients toward their goals and dreams, rather than focusing on their daily functioning of current and past unjustices.
A counseling background is a valuable resource we bring to the life coaching arena!
You have a great informational website!
